Your Pet’s First Visit
Puppies should first visit the vet at around 6 weeks of age while for kittens it's recommended that they first see the vet at 8 weeks.
During this first visit, your vet will perform a physical examination of your pet and assess for any conditions they may have.
During this visit, your vet will also administer deworming medications for roundworms and hookworms, and begin the initial round of puppy or kitten vaccinations.

If you have a kitten then we will also test for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.
Routine Appointments
It is recommended that puppies and kittens have 3 to 4 veterinary appointments while they are between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks. Your vet will use these visits to monitor their overall health and administer all routine vaccinations that your pet requires.
